What does the job look like? We are currently seeking an experienced Service Advisor or qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet team at our Port Hedland Service Centre. Reporting to the State Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the repairs and maintenance of Linfox equipment is conducted in accordance with fleet and company policy. Fifo from Perth can be an option for this and negotiable! Key areas: Scheduling fleet maintenance and repairs with external repairers and internally with the Linfox workshopEnsure repairs are being prioritised according to safety/non safety or operational constraintsRaising of Purchase orders for work being undertaken externallyEstablish and maintain professional relationships with Linfox operational sites and external service providersTo be able to work cohesively with others in a team environmentProviding advice on technical matters and ensuring adherence to all compliance requirements including supporting paperwork Are you the one?We are looking for individuals that have previous heavy vehicle/fleet maintenance experience or come from a mechanical trade background and possess relevant technical knowledge and experience. You can demonstrate: Mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy vehicle mechanic is requiredPrevious experience in a similar role is considered advantageous with knowledge and experience in prime movers, trucks, trailers and LNG equipment maintenanceIntermediate to advanced computer skills (Excel, Word) – experience with SAP highly regardedHighly organised with excellent time management skills with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environmentAbility to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings
