As a Service Advisor, you will be instrumental in maintaining a positive ongoing relationship with the customer after the initial sale.
To succeed you will be a sound communicator, whose attention to detail keeps the customer fully informed.
As part of a close-knit Service Team, you will work collaboratively with other office-based members of the Service Team to ensure technicians are supported in their aim of satisfying the customer.
This role would suit someone who has been working as a Diesel Fitter and would like an opportunity to use their skill set & experience in a different way.
More specifically your duties will include the following:
Answering customer enquiries F2F or via email or phone callQuoting and preparing jobsReceiving and actioning bookings for serviceAccepting equipment in for servicingOrdering/backordering parts applying a just in time methodologyPreparing and issuing invoicesAccepting and processing cash and electronic paymentsAssisting in the processing of warranty claimsIn determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:
Qualifications in a Mechanical TradeThorough knowledge of servicing and repair processesSound computer literacy using relevant software (e.g., MS Office suite)Ability to manage difficult conversations effectivelyAbility to collaborate with othersThe following criteria are considered desirable:
