What does the job look like? Join our dynamic Fleet team at the Linfox Willawong Service Centre as a Service Advisor. Whether you're an experienced Service Advisor or a qualified Diesel Mechanic, this is your chance to make a real impact in a role that keeps our fleet running smoothly and safely.
Reporting to the State Service Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the repairs and maintenance of Linfox equipment meet fleet and company policies. Key areas:
Scheduling fleet maintenance and repairs with external providers and the Linfox workshop.Prioritising repairs based on safety, operational needs, and urgencyRaising of purchase orders for work being undertaken externallyBuilding and maintaining professional relationships with Linfox operational sites and external service providersProviding technical advice and ensuring compliance with all requirements, including accurate and complete paperworkAre you the one? We're looking for someone with a strong heavy vehicle/fleet maintenance experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in customer service. You can demonstrate:
A mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (essential).Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of prime movers, trucks, trailers, and LNG equipment maintenance (advantageous).Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word; SAP experience is highly regarded.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressureThe ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawingsAt Linfox, we focus on providing an inclusive and diverse workplace where our people can perform at their best.
