What you will doOur Service Advisors are key members of the Dealership and are responsible for organising service work schedules. Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Managing and scheduling repair bookings for customersHandling service related queries from customersCreating job cards and assisting with customer invoicing and purchase ordersUpdating customers and rebooking appointments for follow up or repairsEnsuring Technicians have completed repair order information by checking stories, parts, kilometres etc.Confirming customers or drivers have signed repair orders to authorise repairsEnsuring vehicles are road tested and acceptable in presentation to present back to customersUsing your expertise to advise and provide guidance to Technicians and Apprentices regarding customers vehicle concernsWorking a rotating Saturday roster to provide additional support to customers.Your future teamReporting through the Customer Service Supervisor to the Workshop Manager, you will work in a small team of Service Advisors and Costing Clerks. The greater workshop team of roughly 35 is made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants and Apprentices. The team at VCV Brisbane North pride themselves on running a quality operation, in a supportive and good-humoured team environment.
Who are you?We believe that a good mix of both technical knowledge and soft skills will see you succeed in this role, so ideally you will have:
Previous experience in a similar roleAutomotive industry experience (truck and bus experience would be an advantage)Good mechanical knowledgeSound computer skills including the Microsoft Office programsStrong organizational skills and a proactive working styleExcellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environmentAvailability to work a rotating SaturdayWhat's in it for you?We offer a solid package of compensation and benefits, plus you will enjoy:
