Join Hastings Deering as a Service Advisor. This position will drive and connect service delivery and technical requests. The Service Advisor will help support key workshop functions from a technical perspective and provide advice and guidance to other key roles such as the Service Coordinator.
As a service advisor you will: Provide a high quality, cost effective service that exceeds customer expectations and returns nil customer complaints. Maintain a high level of customer communication to ensure customers are always informed of quotes/variations/job progress and invoicing. Ensures segments are closed with appropriate parts, labour and miscellaneous booked to the job to ensure accurate customer invoicing. Monitor all jobs for quality and efficiency. Accurately encoding all documentation relevant to the Microsoft AX. Ensure labour hours have been correctly encoded and that any missing labour hours are accounted for on a daily basis. Investigate and action non recoverable labour hours and assist in establishing and maintaining an efficient workflow. Assist the Leading Hands and Foreman with scheduling of service calls, labour availability and tasks, prepare and close segments on completion of work. Assist in the development of accurate customer estimate repairs when required and is delivered to the customer through AX. Accurately forecast invoicing expectations. Actively engage with the Leading Hand and Technicians on the scope of work and deliverables for the customer. Why Hastings Deering? Sound computing skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft AX and Power BI systems. In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and a knowledge of products and services. Be able to maintain a high level of workplace health and safety. High developed verbal and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer experience.
