If so, Anglicare Sydney is looking for dedicated Servery Staff to join our team and help enhance the well-being of our residents.
About the Role:As a Servery Staff at Anglicare Sydney, our kitchen and servery team plays a vital role in providing nourishing meals that contribute to the health and well-being of our residents.
About You: Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or aged care (preferred but not essential)Strong attention to detail and cleanlinessA genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values.Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (or willingness to learn)Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals to residents.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining areas, and food service spaces.Assist in meal setup, including setting tables and ensuring all utensils and crockery are clean.Deliver food and beverages to residents in the dining room and, when necessary, to their rooms.Ensure dietary requirements and preferences are met for each resident.Collaborate with the broader team to provide holistic support to residents.Collect, clean, and store dishes and utensils after meals.Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere within the care facility.Follow health, safety, and food hygiene standards always.What to expect when you apply:If you have a passion for food service and enjoy working in a caring, team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you.
