About the Role: This is a Permanent Full Time position within the ICT department. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining key components of the RCH cloud and on-premise Infrastructure platform.
What you'll achieve: You will support and maintain the delivery of the underlying Server, Backups, Storage, and Virtual infrastructure of critical applications and systems in a 24/7 operating environment.You will contribute to the delivery of RCH Cybersecurity protections, including the DHHS Cybersecurity Baseline Controls.Administering and supporting the cloud-based services including email, email gateway, and ensuring delivery, capacity, and security meet organisational requirements.The cloud, physical and virtual compute and storage infrastructure supporting the provision of technology services to the RCH.Your skills and experience: Experience with Windows infrastructure.Experience with enterprise backup and storage environments.Experience and knowledge of virtualisation technologies e.g. VMWare.Experience in enterprise monitoring solutions.A strong desire to develop and transition to cloud technologies.Demonstrable strong PowerShell and scripting experience.An ability to effectively prioritise tasks and successfully problem-solve and troubleshoot issues.Demonstrated ability to respond flexibly to client needs with the ability to develop practical solutions to problems and provide advice in area of expertise.Demonstrated commitment to lead and contribute as part of a team, with experience in continuous improvement.Other requirements: Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain.Valid Working with Children Check.Compliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure.Application process: To apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position in line with the requirements of the position description.
