As the Finance & Commercial Manager in our Justice West team onsite at Acacia prison, you'll provide commercial leadership to ensure our contracts remain profitable, compliant, and sustainable.
Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies and managing risks for post-contractual matters.

As a Finance & Commercial Manager in the West team, you'll make a positive impact by:
Developing commercial solutions to enhance contract profitability Managing pricing strategies and financial risk assessments Leading client negotiations (with state government) to resolve contract issues Providing strategic guidance on financial performance and ROI Overseeing the accuracy of financial records and forecasts Coaching and mentoring team members in commercial best practices Your ideal skills & experience:
Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field Proven experience in post-contract commercial management, analysing scope creep & defining solutions Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful client engagements Excellent people leadership skills & a proven ability to lead a high performing team Expertise in financial modelling and risk assessment Ability to influence senior leaders and drive operational excellence Understanding of contract law and government-sector operations (preferred) As a fast-growing and successful global company, Serco's services span across areas such as Justice, Defence, Immigration, and more.
