Join AECOM's Highways Team in South-East Queensland as a Team Lead, where you will step into a dynamic role that blends leadership, innovation and delivery.

Job Description What will a day in this role look like:  Lead our Highways Team culture, performance, client relationships, contractor relationships and project delivery across our South-East Queensland offices.
Work with an industry leading team on a broad range of city-shaping transport infrastructure projects, including some of Queensland's largest road and public transport projects.
Influence and lead strategy development and execution to achieve business success.
Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration with our multidisciplinary teams.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, customers and partners.
Lead change and productivity as we continue our digital delivery journey.
Qualifications What are we looking for from you?
Tertiary qualification in engineering suitable to hold (or obtain) RPEQ status in Queensland, ideally with 15 years + relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in managing major transport infrastructure projects in a highways design capacity and meeting delivery requirements.
Knowledge of the market for consulting services in Queensland to support the positioning and winning of projects, including Business Cases, design only contract development, D&C and ETI delivery.
An effective leader with tenacity and drive to achieve outstanding results, grow the team and balance priorities.
Strong client focus and relationships, with business development experience and demonstrated commercial acumen.
Understanding of consulting resourcing planning and forecasting.
Flexibility to be present across our Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast offices to develop client relationships, mentor staff and build team rapport.
The Team Lead may not be the most senior member of the team and must actively engage and empower all members of their team regardless of seniority.
