Job Requirements: SEO Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies tailored to the ANZ region.Conduct in-depth keyword research for Australian and New Zealand audiences, focusing on localised search trends, slang, and culture-specific terminology.Perform regular competitor analysis in the ANZ market to identify opportunities and threats.On-Page Optimization: Optimize website structure, landing pages, meta tags, headers, and content to improve organic search performance for local queries.Collaborate with the content team to create and optimise SEO-friendly content relevant to the ANZ market.Ensure website adherence to Google's local SEO best practices for Australia and New Zealand.Off-Page SEO & Link Building: Develop and implement localised link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from regionally relevant sites.Establish partnerships with local influencers, bloggers, and industry websites to enhance the site's authority.Technical SEO: Audit and enhance website performance, mobile responsiveness, and page speed for users in the ANZ region.Implement structured data markup (schema) relevant to local businesses and industries.SEO Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on organic performance in the ANZ market using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Track and report key SEO KPIs, including traffic, conversions, rankings, and link-building efforts.Core responsibilities: Proven experience in SEO with a focus on the Australian and New Zealand markets.Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand-specific search behaviors and keyword trends.Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Experience with local SEO, including optimizing for Google My Business and local search directories.Familiarity with regional laws and digital marketing regulations (e.g., privacy and data protection laws in Australia and New Zealand).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
