In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimised content across various formats, including blogs, web pages, downloadable guides, whitepapers, and factsheets.
You'll ensure all content aligns with our SEO strategy, leverages search trends, and speaks directly to the needs of our customers.
Your efforts will help us reach more business owners and solidify our leadership in the SME finance space.
**Key Responsibilities** - Content Creation: Write and optimise blog posts, web pages, landing pages, downloadable guides, whitepapers, and factsheets with clear, engaging, and conversion-focused content that aligns with Valiant's tone of voice and brand guidelines.
- SEO Optimisation: Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research, metadata optimisation, internal linking strategies, and on-page optimisation.
- Topic Research: Use tools like Google Trends, SEMrush, and others to identify high-value content topics based on search trends, audience needs, and competitive analysis.
- Performance Tracking: Collaborate with the marketing team to analyse the performance of content using SEO analytics and recommend improvements to increase organic traffic and engagement.
- CMS Management: Manage and publish content using Webflow CMS, ensuring all pages are optimised for performance and responsive design.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, product marketing, and other teams to develop content that supports campaigns, product launches, and other business initiatives.
- SEO Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, applying this knowledge to content strategies.
- Content Campaigns: Develop long-form content like whitepapers, guides, and factsheets that can be used as lead generation assets, ensuring they are informative, visually engaging, and aligned with Valiant's brand positioning.
**Qualifications** - Proven experience (2+ years) in content creation with a strong focus on SEO.
- Demonstrated ability to write engaging, clear, and concise content tailored to target audiences.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and content optimisation.
- Experience writing long-form content, including guides, whitepapers, and factsheets.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Webflow CMS or other similar content management systems is preferred.
- Basic understanding of HTML and web performance optimisation is a plus.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
