Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Miniquip is a family run business with over 35 years' experience in compact equipment hire, committed to providing clients with the most reliable mini earthmoving machinery.At Miniquip, we strive to cater for our clients' changing needs by continually implementing new and innovative tight access equipment to our expanding hire fleet, whether it be for construction, mining, demolition, landscaping, reticulation, site remediation, heavy industry shutdowns or general site works.The Senior Yard Hand plays an integral role in ensuring that our equipment is in a presentable condition ready for hire, providing excellent customer service, and following through with the on and off-hire process while effectively communicating with the team.Key Responsibilities:Liaise with the rental fleet controllers during the day to plan, change, and respond to job requirements as necessary.Coordinate with yard hand and wash bay attendants with daily job tasks and equipment scheduling.Conduct on-hire and off-hire auditing inspections and minor equipment cleaning.Ensure all equipment and vehicles are located correctly in the yard to maintain traffic flow and are ready for hire.Quality-check all hires prior to customer handover, ensuring all attachments and fittings are in working order.Provide customer equipment handover and safety briefing on delivery or collection.Load and unload machinery and hire components for customers.Maintain facilities and yard presentation, ensuring a safe working environment.Check depot fuel tank levels and inform the workshop manager when necessary.Assist with collections or deliveries of equipment and attachments as required.Conduct stock takes as required.Move machinery safely in and out of the workshop and around the premises, to assist the Workshop.Attend all toolbox and safety meetings as required.Minimum Requirements:Have the right to live and work in Australia.Construction White Card.Current HR Licence. (Beneficial)Relevant machinery tickets and licences.Fit and healthy for work.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience in a similar role.Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.Valid driver's license and relevant certifications.A can-do attitude and the desire to be part of a small dynamic team that enjoys a great working environment and culture.
