The Role This role will involve researching, planning and writing compelling copy for a variety of internal and external channels ensuring high editorial standards, and that messaging champions the TasWater brand and Strategy.

Some of the activities you'll be working on include:
Writing compelling copy for a variety of channels including but not limited to: speeches, corporate documents (including the Annual Report and Corporate Plan), opinion editorials, presentations, ministerial correspondence, website copy, awards applications, internal communications stories, customers letters, email campaigns, social media, and video scripts.Collaborating across the wider communications team, as well as brand and insights, stakeholder relations, community engagement, customer experience, and customer services to assess project needs and be the lead for all required messaging.Editing and proofing work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.Researching and understanding all briefs clearly addressing stakeholder needs, target audiences, thorough online or internal searches/education and review existing research completed.Championing the brand tone of voice to drive consistency and a "one voice from all" across all channels and teams.What we're looking for We think there are transferable skills that can lead to success in this role so even if you don't think you meet all the criteria, we still want you to apply.
The below experience will be helpful:

Experience in journalism, professional writing, advertising or communications writing across all channels.Strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, effective time management, and exceptional proofreading skills.Strong independent research skills to inform understanding of all briefs.Clear, critical thinking skills with the ability to cut through the noise and get to the heart of an issue.Why TasWater? The Details This role can be based in either Hobart, Devonport or Launceston and attracts a total remuneration package of $124,000-$152,000 (inclusive of superannuation).
