About the Opportunity The Senior Worker sits within the Homeless and Family Services Portfolio and in collaboration with the Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Youth Foyer program. The Senior Worker will hold a small caseload of young people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness to develop positive pathways towards independence with a focus on education, employment and training. This position will also provide leadership and supervision to some of the Youth Development Coaches in the Youth Foyer program and the Residential Support Volunteers.

Demonstrated experience in case management, preferably in the youth sector. Demonstrated experience working in care teams and with other organisations to support young people. Sound understanding of trauma informed practice. Supervision experience would be advantageous.
