Maintain Dreamworld's captive animal collection, enclosures & exhibits2 part-time positions available – one PT20 and one PT30Dreamworld is one of the largest native wildlife parks in Southeast Queensland with 100's of native animals including one of the largest koala populations. We are seeking two Senior Wildlife Attendants to join our team on a part-time basis – one role guarantees 20 hours per week, the other guarantees 30 hours per week. 
The primary responsibility of a Senior Wildlife Attendant is to provide the highest standard of animal care for our captive animal collection, and maintain the enclosures and exhibits. Tasks include feeding, cleaning, record keeping and animal enrichment. 
This is a physically demanding role that involves animal husbandry tasks and manual handling, therefore the ability to perform physically demanding work is essential. Sound written and verbal communication skills are essential as interaction with a diverse range of people from differing cultures is involved, and report writing and record keeping is a requirement of the role.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge and extensive experience working with Australian native fauna. Animal husbandry qualifications and/or progressive study towards a zoo keeping qualification would be well regarded. Flexibility with working hours across a 7 day roster is essential, and weekend work will be involved. A current manual drivers license is also required.
