Our evolution has been significant, growing from a small joint venture to a thriving ASX-listed property group that leads the way in sustainability, innovation, safety and placemaking.At Mirvac, we know that it's our people, their passion and expertise and the exceptional experiences we create for our audience, that defines us.Our opportunityAs Senior Valuation Analyst, you will assist the National Manager, Valuations with the delivery of internal and external valuations across the commercial, retail, industrial and build to rent asset classes by providing valuation services to a range of internal clients and providing a consistent approach to governance and compliance across funds.Your responsibilities will include:Assist with all facets of the external valuation process including the formal instruction of the valuers.Formally request the preparation of data packs from internal teams.Review and issue data packs to valuers.Assist with managing relationships with external property managers to ensure the delivery of valuations for externally managed assets.Co-ordinate and collate feedback between asset teams and valuers on valuation financials and assumptions.Analysis of all valuation metrics, methodology and outcomes.Finalisation of draft numbers with asset teams and valuers and present these to Fund teams outlining major changes.Review of draft valuation reports.Undertake internal valuations as required.Contribute to Valuation Committee papers and other presentation materials highlighting changes in valuations and market conditions.Assess leasing scenarios, property acquisitions and divestments when required.Provide general valuation advice across asset and fund teams.Assist in adhoc analysis as required.Manage database and library of sales transactions.Assist with the governance and maintenance of valuation policies and valuation Sharepoint Site.Build relationships with external valuers and internal stakeholders.Your point of differenceTertiary qualifications in property, valuations or similar business degree.3-5 years experience in a major real estate agency or institution.Certified practicing valuer (CPV) with 3+ years experience in valuing institutional grade assets preferred.Advanced Microsoft excel and power-point capabilities.Knowledge of Forbury and/or Cougar software preferred.Highly numerate and strong attention to detail.Excellent understanding of property valuation principles.Hold strong analytical and financial modelling skills.Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities and projects efficiently.Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines.Discretion, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.All of these attributes are preferred, if you think you may be the right fit for the role please still apply.
