As our highly valued Senior UX/UI Designer based in Brisbane CBD.
The Senior Digital UX /UI Designer sits within the Digital Experience (DX) team at Great Southern Bank, which falls within the Customer Office division.
DX is responsible for leading the DX strategy, design and delivery of our digital customer experiences across channels.
This role sits within the Small Business Banking squad and contributes to the successful delivery of this exciting new product.
You'll make an impact by: Playing a key role in shaping our Small Business product's digital user experience.
Being accountable for the creation of seamless, intuitive cross-platform journeys and slick, on-brand interfaces that support our customers and drive business outcomes.
Collaborate with the wider organisation to take work from initial ideas (founded in user research) through to fully articulated, validated designs and flows.
Design and creation, user research and testing, user interface design and relationship management Do things differently with us To succeed in this role, you will have: 5+ years' experience in delivering digital experiences that create material value for customers and organisation Extensive experience with user-centred design principles and practices, web/mobile standards, typography, colour, web/mobile usability standards and IA.
Experience with developing, facilitating and reporting on UX research that builds measurable value to the business.
Extensive knowledge in creating wireframes, user workflows, and low and high-fidelity prototypes and validating design ideas with usability testing.
A strong portfolio of UI design that showcases your creativity and understanding of design principles and best practices.
Experience working with, and contributing to, UI Design Systems.
Experience in writing technical requirements and working closely with development teams.
Experience designing online and mobile experiences in the banking sector will be extremely advantageous.
Your qualifications Bachelor of Arts or Design in a relevant field (e.g.
interactive design, new media, usability, etc), or equivalent experience.
Software essentials: Figma, Sketch, JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Creative Suite, User Testing & Research tools (e.g.
Maze, User Testing, Optimal, Dovetail etc) Why Great Southern Bank?
