As the Senior User Experience Designer with the Mobility Team, you will play a key role supporting RACV's growth ambitions, and the Arevo journey planning app mission to help Victorians get around conveniently, affordably, and sustainably and safely.
The award winning Arevo journey planning and mobility services app has experienced significant growth in recent years, with more than 400,000 downloads, driven by principles of human centred design and strong product-market fit. You will work closely with the Mobility, Product and Development teams, in an agile environment, and be empowered to contribute to the strategy of Arevo and key decisions on feature prioritisation and design.

Key responsibilities:
Take ownership of end-to-end design, employing agile and design thinking principles. Conduct research and use data to guide the development of new and improved experiences. Use tools to gain data and analytical insights to recommend improvements to deliver an excellent digital experience. Facilitate ideation sessions and design workshops. Create journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Provide recommendations that strike a balance between desirability, feasibility, and viability. Design experiences that support the Arevo ambition to build a growing base of engaged app users and explore relevant ways to convert them into RACV customers. Refine concepts into designs that are ready for UI and then development. Work closely with Product Managers, Marketing, Business Analysts and Developers to deliver designs. Recommend proposed Analytics (measurement) requirements in journey maps and user flows. Recommend solutions that balance desirability, feasibility and commercial viability. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Software Developers to ensure high-quality delivery of your designs. Act as a lead communicator and advocate for User Experience Design within your area of responsibility. Support on the UX of other emerging digital experiences and products in the Mobility space. What you'll need to be successful Bachelor's degree or Tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience in a relevant field Minimum 4+ years' experience as a User Experience Designer Strong understanding of mobile app principles You have a portfolio that demonstrates your experience in delivering digital products, including mobile design principles. You have experience working in a cross-functional team in an agile framework. You are familiar with a range of digital tools, including a high level of skill with Figma, Miro and Jira.
