Hybrid work arrangements Work on the delivery of exciting new projects Close to public transport/ Onsite parking The Senior UX Designer will drive UX activities for our flagship digital product, collaborating with the Lead UX Designer and delivery squads to create exceptional user experiences.
As part of our global UX Practice, you'll address key customer pain points and foster collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, and Service Delivery to deliver cohesive solutions.
Accountabilities: Advocate for Experience Design and HCD activities that drive efficient delivery.
Collaborate with project leads to prioritize and conduct high-value UX activities in alignment with Product Design peers.
Communicate the value of research, scale user research impact, and maintain the research repository.
Deliver user insights that shape product strategies using the DVF (Desirability, Viability, Feasibility) framework.
Advance UX practices and identify opportunities to enhance impact across Cochlear.
Lead workshops, analysis, and create UI/UX artefacts that empower product delivery.
Validate user and delivery needs while establishing metrics for improved experiences.
Essential Skills : At least 6 years proven experience as a Product Designer or User Experience Designer for software products.
Experience working in highly collaborative agile software teams and within complex problem area.
An advocate for Inclusive Design, User Centred and Human Centred Design methodologies.
Deep knowledge of design patterns and best practices in user experience design Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to present complex research outcomes with clarity.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities and strong abilities to work collaboratively.
Ideal: Experience in Lean UX, Dual Track Discovery or Continuous Discovery.
Experience implementing brand and accessibility into digital products and inclusive design needs Experience working with web and mobile application teams Experience with Service Design methods and Customer Journey maps.
