What's the role?We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior UX Designer to join News Corp Australia.
Your role will focus on delivering visually stunning and engaging designs across our digital platforms, with a strong emphasis on UI design.
While your primary focus will be on the visual aspects, you'll also leverage your knowledge of UX principles to ensure the user experience is smooth and intuitive.
You will collaborate with various teams to produce cohesive, high-quality designs that resonate with users and align with our business goals.In this role you will:Design visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces for web and digital platforms.Create wireframes, prototypes, and final polished UI designs using tools like Figma.Utilise a design system to maintain consistency and scalability across projects.Utilise UX skills and principles to facilitate and guide design decisions, ensuring the user journey is seamless and intuitive.Ensure all design work is grounded in user-centric thinking, enhancing both usability and visual appeal.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align design efforts with broader business objectives.Who are you?A highly skilled UX designer with a strong portfolio of digital design work.Proficient in Figma, capable of producing wireframes, prototypes, and visually compelling UI designs.Strong understanding of design systems and their importance in maintaining consistency across platforms.Knowledgeable of UX design principles, with the ability to apply them to create intuitive user experiences.Excellent communicator, able to clearly present design concepts and collaborate effectively with teams.Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.A proactive team player with a positive attitude and a passion for creating beautiful, functional designs.
