This role will involve collaborating with both offshore and onshore teams to conduct comprehensive user research, creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, and ensuring seamless integration of front-end elements with back-end functionalities.
This role is on a 12-month, fixed-term contract, based out of the Cannon Hill (Brisbane) office in our Software Engineering Team.Responsibilities:Lead UX design efforts for organizational transformation projects.Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to deliver high-quality designs.Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design mockups based on user research and testing.Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical debt and improve the overall user experience, including UAT to redefine design.Support the development of UX design standards and best practices.About YouProven experience in leading UX design efforts for large-scale organizational transformation projects, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve technical debt and driving business transformation through UX.Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.Extensive experience as a UX Designer, preferably within a software engineering environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX design for complex web and mobile applications.Familiarity with design systems, agile methodologies, and modern development frameworks.Proficient in UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar and literacy in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g.
