Senior Underwriter Property - Global and Risk Managed Underwrite Global and Risk Managed Property Business Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key Brokers and End Clients Sydney or Melbourne CBD location / work from home and office The purpose of this crucial role is to drive profitable growth within the Global & Risk Managed Property portfolio. Assist with development & implementation of the strategy for the Global & Risk Managed Property portfolio to achieve the required levels of portfolio profitability and growth.
What you'll do: Work closely with the G&RM UW team to manage all key account components, including all pre & post renewal UW process requirements are completed within agreed guidelines Manage the end to end Renewal process on G&RM portfolio allocation Work with the team to profitably grow the portfolio via acquisition of New Business that meets strategy & appetite Work closely with the Vero Risk Engineering team to manage Risk Engineering programs of G&RM clients Work closely with brokers & end clients to build tripartite relationships Build knowledge in account structure including Reinsurance placements (both Treaty & FAC) What you'll bring: Minimum 5 years relevant insurance experience Strong working knowledge of property underwriting and understanding of manuscript and agreed policy wordings Ability to plan and action portfolio and business specific activities including coordination of activities with other lines of business and departments Demonstrated ability to build positive and constructive working relationships with key stakeholders.
