This role is critical for assisting in the achievement of divisional goals through underwriting workers compensation business within agreed authority, to meet customer service standards, whilst complying with underwriting guidelines and company standards.Our Workers Compensation team is market leading; with proven expertise, we provide a diverse range of products and solutions for our clients. You will work in a team that sells, underwrites and manages Workers Compensation claims.You'll be responsible for:Underwriting a large client portfolio of profitable Workers Compensation businessWorking with teams in retaining and implementing account plansAssessing the risk, manage pricing and underwrite the opportunitiesProviding a referral point assisting other underwritersImportant to your success:Proven track record in underwriting long tail business either workers compensation or liabilityKnowledge and experience in Workers Compensation Underwriting NSW MF &/or Risk States (WA, ACT, NT & TAS)A strong analytical capability coupled with excellent verbal and written communication is essentialA commercial awareness with demonstrated business acumenYou will be a team player with the ability to build and maintain relationshipsRelevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essentialWhat's on offer?Access to on-demand lifelong learning to take control of your career developmentWhat matters to you, matters to us too.
