Financial Lines Senior Underwriter

Experienced Financial Lines Underwriter in a growing portfolio within the Steadfast, Advisernet & Rothbury team.
Opportunity to take on a more complex & diverse range of risk.

Your New Role
You will be part of a team that is supportive, self-managing, and trusted to work autonomously. You will have the opportunity to coach and develop other members within the direct team as well as receive coaching from mentors in the broader business.

Part of the Financial Lines/Casualty team in a varied and versatile role across all liability lines.
Contributing to the overall strategy, planning, and execution of policies, product plans, and outcomes of complex portfolio balance.
Coach team members to achieve or exceed service standards and operational targets in the region.
Underwrite complex risk business in accordance with the business plan and guidelines within individual earned or delegated underwriting authority.

About You
We are looking for a team player who enjoys collaborating and supporting their colleagues but also values autonomy and empowerment to make decisions. You will:

Have experience in financial lines/casualty.
Be an effective business partner, experienced in engaging with senior members of Insurance Brokers & customer presentations.
Demonstrate complex analytical and research skills with the ability to use risk profiling, pricing tools & loss models.
