Black Rubber, Port Hedland has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Tyre Fitter who is looking to develop their skills and progress their career.
This position requires hands-on tyre fitting expertise combined with the ability to effectively manage their workload & provide support to management & coworkers.
About Us Black Rubber is a leading tyre supply & service organisation focused on the provision of efficient & safe tyre management services specifically for the transport, industrial, mining & resource industries.
We are a member of the National Tyre & Wheel Group (NTAW), Australasia's largest tyre, wheel, and accessory wholesaler.
Roles/responsibilities Perform tyre fitting services, including rotations, pressure checks, balancing, and puncture repairs. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as wheel balancing problems, tyre, wheel, and rim damage and wear. Monitor fleet tyre performance, identifying damage, wear issues, and providing accurate recommendations or solutions to customers. Adhere to all company and industry standards, policies, and procedures while maintaining a high level of customer service and professional presentation. Assist with incoming stock deliveries & effective inventory management. Assist with supervising staff & training new employees. Provide excellent customer service & occasional support within the office. Skills & Experience Proven experience in tyre fitting and maintenance. Ability to assess and diagnose tyre and wheel-related issues. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Leadership skills & experience supervising a team (desirable). Benefits Competitive hourly rate + superannuation + overtime opportunities.
