Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner to join our Advisory team in Perth to support our growing business.
This is an exciting time for you to join our high performing Transport Advisory team where you will: Contribute to and lead the planning and development of a number of innovative transport projects ranging from strategic planning to business case input for transport infrastructure of regional significance  Develop your strong technical capabilities as part of high performing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver planning and design on multimodal transport, freight, public transport, and active transport projects Assist with identifying new business opportunities and pro-actively keeping abreast with industry trends and interacting with our global leaders in your technical practice areas of interest  Contribute to technological innovation to develop our solutions in a sustainable way.
Our strong project pipeline includes an exciting mix of transport projects involving passenger rail, light rail, bus transit planning, cycle and pedestrian planning, significant highway and major road upgrades projects, freight planning and much more.
Working with a high performing multi-disciplinary team of transport planners, transport modelers and engineers across Australia and New Zealand, you will be supporting the team in winning, managing and delivering projects across a diverse range of transport infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients.
Qualifications About You We are looking for a highly self-motivated and ambitious professional who is seeking continued professional development and is seeking opportunities to deliver technical excellence in existing and new business delivery.
Working on a wide range of transportation projects of regional and national significance, this role will give you the opportunity to develop and shape your career.
Approximately 5+ years relevant professional experience  A strong technical background with demonstrable experience in traffic, public transport, and/or active transport planning and analysis.
Experience in transportation planning for cities/ regions / corridors and across transport modes.
Experience in preparing and delivering robust analysis for business case inputs.
Experience in aiding with the bid process, winning and delivering Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.
Demonstrable experience in preparing technical reports Demonstrable experience in communication and presenting of complex transport analysis and planning An awareness of industry trends and the ability to understand and work with client needs, with pride in developing and maintaining strong client relationships Ability and desire to work independently as well as in a team environment Appropriate tertiary qualification in engineering, geography, mathematics or transport planning Drive to deliver high quality work on projects that make a difference.
