About the role Based in Sydney, NSW, this opportunity will see you join our multi-disciplined, in-house engineering team to work on an upcoming major HV Transmission Line project.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide structural design works supporting Transmission lines tenders and projects.
The design work involves design of support structures and foundations, Provide profession leadership for the discipline group of engineers, with particular focus in the following areas: Technical Matters Timeliness and Cost of Design Constructability and Construction Cost Facility Whole-of-Life Cost Construction, Operation, Maintenance, and Demolition Safety Fulfil the role of Designer, Checker, Verifier, and/or Design Discipline Leader in the provision of engineering works, Certify professional engineering work as being compliant with relevant codes and standards, Develop technical specification documents and reports, Continually develop engineering skills in accordance with Engineers Australia CPD requirements, Technical support throughout construction activities as required, Consider safety in the conduct of all activities.

Ideally you will have: Relevant engineering tertiary qualifications Strong understanding of principles of tower design and foundation design.
Proficiency in PLS CADD, PLS Tower and PLS Pole.
