Senior Training Officer | State Gov |2 Years Contract

The Training Officer will be working within Queensland's Animal Biosecurity & Welfare program,supporting dangerous Dogs Project team that provides support to the government's Stronger Dog Laws initiative.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for creating training material based on changes to state legislation and delivering training to local governments on the changes to legislation. Working with investigators to develop procedures and manuals. Working with a web design officer to put training material into a course format on a government website for use by local government. Working with investigators to undertake specific ad-hoc training to local governments based on operational and training needs. Capabilities: Experience creating and delivering training material. Experience in delivering training online and in person in gov/policy/regulatory context. Desirable skills/requirements: Experience delivering legislative change and procedural change to local government or equivalent.
