Utilise your training and delivery expertise to provide support and advice to the  Liquor Control Victoria branch Ongoing, Full-Time  opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service About the Business Unit: Liquor Control Victoria was established on 1 July 2022 and comprises the independent Victorian Liquor Commission and staff from the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Liquor Control Victoria is responsible for issuing liquor licences and overseeing industry compliance and enforcement to ensure that Victorians and visitors to the state enjoy safe and responsible liquor licenced environments.
This is an exciting time to join Liquor Control Victoria and to be part of something new and growing. We are strengthening our focus on harm minimisation and assessment of community impacts as part of our regulatory approach following major reforms to liquor licencing laws that commenced in 2022.
About the Role: The Senior Training Officer at Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) is responsible for the delivery of mandatory training programs for licensees and workers in some licensed premises.
We are looking for someone with strong skills in developing online learning for adult learners, with a high level of project and stakeholder management skills.
This role is responsible for engagement and oversight of the registered training organisations delivering the mandatory training programs.
Some of your duties will include:
Applying adult learning principles to design, develop and deliver learning experiences in a variety of modes including in-person and digital-learning formats for licensees and staff serving and supplying alcohol in licensed venues. Providing advice and support in relation to the development, implementation, and maintenance of learning experiences. Contributing to the preparation of regulatory materials and relevant resources related to delivery of learning experiences.
