Job Description Are you passionate about Health, Safety, Environment and Training (HSET)? Our Poitrel Mine Site has exceptional HSE performance and has a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior HSE Training Advisor to join our team. If you are a training professional who is committed to making a difference, you might be a great addition to our small innovative team. This multi-faceted role will see you: Conduct and coordinate site induction/onboarding group sessions for new employees and contractors. Assist in the review of the site's Training Needs Analysis and Training Matrix. Develop, improve, and contextualise training materials which includes the adoption of new technology solutions. Provide training support and guidance for site-based projects, operational, and functional teams. Monitor updates to relevant legislation and other relevant industry changes (such as Australian Standards) that have an impact on the Safety and Health Management systems. Review the Safety and Health Management systems in accordance with the relevant updates, industry changes, and site requirements. Develop and implement improvements to the site Safety and Health Management systems working closely with the HSEC team to ensure changes are well managed and communicated. Qualifications Our ideal candidate will have: Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or higher. Previous exposure to RTOs desirable. Written skills with demonstrated ability to write concise instructional-type documents such as safe working procedures. A deep understanding of training requirements in a mining environment. Ability to develop training programs utilising our Learning Management Systems. Strong computer literacy, and experience with tablet-based assessments. Interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate group presentations and workshops. Ability to apply risk management processes RIIRIS301 E. Ability to conduct safety and health investigations RIIWHS301 E. Ability to communicate information RIICOM301 E.
