We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting a Senior Trainer and Assessor, to work in MTC's registered training organisation, Training & Safety Solutions.
As a Senior Trainer and Assessor, you will lead and deliver high-quality training and assessment services that align with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards, ensuring compliance with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and industry requirements. Reporting to the National Manager, you will be instrumental in mentoring a team of Trainers and Assessors, designing and delivering training programs, and driving continuous improvement to maintain operational excellence.
In your new role, you will: Deliver pre-service and workplace training programs, assessing competence against national benchmarks.Use engaging methodologies, including e-learning platforms, to support adult learning.Design and update training resources to reflect current practices and ASQA standards.Conduct assessments, provide feedback, and document student performance.Mentor, coach, and develop Trainers and Assessors to ensure consistent delivery and quality.Maintain RTO compliance through participation in validation, moderation, and quality assurance activities.Support the RTO's administrative and reporting processes, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.Promote safety, respect, and a culture of continuous improvement in all training activities.ABOUT YOUYou are an experienced Trainer and Assessor with a passion for adult education and team leadership. Your ability to adapt to diverse learning styles, coupled with a strong understanding of RTO compliance, makes you an asset to the organisation.
To be successful, you will: Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).Hold a Certificate III in Immigration Detention Operations and/or Certificate III in Correctional Practice or higher.Hold qualifications, experience and be current with Emergency Response Team (ERT), Transport and Escort (T&E) and Aviation Escort requirements, preferably within the Immigration Detention environment.Possess industry experience and vocational qualifications in other areas you teach.Maintain current First Aid accreditation (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009).Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry.Pass any required health assessments.Travel interstate and overseas as and when required to meet business needs.Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.For more information about the role please call the Project Recruitment Team on 02 8215 1015 or simply click Apply Now and our recruitment team will prioritise your application.
