Your new role
Working as Senior Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
Conduct thorough investigations into traffic, parking, and street lighting issues using both manual and electronic surveys.Organise and analyse traffic monitoring programs as needed.Redesign congested intersections to improve traffic flow and safety.Enhance intersection designs to incorporate parking and adjacent side streets.What you'll need to succeed
The successful person will be a Civil Engineer and have significant Traffic and Transport Engineering experience, ideally within a Local Government environment along with an associated qualification:
Experience in carrying out traffic & parking investigations.Dealing with stakeholders in the wider community.Experience in processing and assessing town planning referrals / development applications.What you'll get in return

This is an initial 2-month contract with the view to extend, paying between $50 - $55 p/h + super.
