About the role
We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team in our waterfront North Sydney office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and have experience working on various traffic engineering and transportation planning projects.
Key Responsibilities
Core responsibilities of the role include:
Conducting intersection analysis and/or traffic modelling. Analysing signal timing, parking and traffic data. Devising road safety improvements. Undertaking intersection and corridor studies. Documenting traffic impact assessments (TIAs). Preparing proposals, technical reports and presentations. Managing clients and stakeholders with support. Experience
The successful candidate must exhibit high-quality technical abilities in the traffic engineering and transport planning discipline and ideally will have experience with development assessment.
You will also have:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 2-6 years of experience in transportation engineering. Experience reviewing architectural plans with AutoCAD. Experience utilising traffic engineering software such as SIDRA, VISSIM and AutoTurn. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Time management and prioritisation skills.
