You will have a good understanding of traffic engineering in the context of urban and regional transport systems. Able to provide a range of services including advice relating to traffic engineering assessment and design, freight and logistics, and development impacts. This role will work closely and be supported by an experienced Director of Transport Advisory. As a member of the Transport team, you will also play a part in supporting employee growth & development.You will:Provide a range of services including advice relating to traffic engineering, land use/transport integration, approval processes, and management.Provide advanced traffic engineering and management principles, with the ability to apply them, including advice relating to land use/transport planning, transport network design for active, public, freight, and private modes, due diligence assessments, master plans, and the approval process & management.Support the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects & other national initiatives.Provide technical and management support to the Transport Advisory team.Proactively identify opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Units across Urbis & Cistri.Generate new work and profitable business performance through the maintenance and building upon new and existing client relationships.Nurture and develop individual staff members through effective coaching and mentoring.About You:Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban & Regional Planning, or a related discipline.Relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.Proven ability to manage and develop team members.Proven track record of delivering and managing transport projects, preferably in Queensland.
