Whether managing large-scale, complex projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars or assisting downsizers with subdividing their property to create the perfect home for retirement, we provide tailored solutions for all types of ventures.THE ROLE/DUTIESDue to recent growth, we are now looking for a senior planner/manager to come on board.Town Planning- Preparation and assessment of Development Applications, Scheme Amendments, Subdivision Applications, and Appeals.- Various town planning matters as they arise.- Reviewing highest and best use for development sites.- Involvement in expert witness presentations if and when required.- Project coordination and oversight of planning approval.- Integration with our Surveying and Project Management departments.- Assisting with high-level advisory services from time to time.- Strong customer focus, with a desire and willingness to generate new business.- Providing high-quality, accurate verbal and written advice to clients.- Planning and Development related research on industry changes and trends.- Maintaining project milestones - WFM.Business Development- Maintaining existing relationships with clients, both existing and new.- Creating new opportunities for future business growth.- Attending networking and/or other functions as required.- Assisting the business with new workflows and expanding the existing client list.- Providing leadership within the business for existing staff and clients.- Managing day-to-day planning operations.ABOUT YOU- Undergraduate or Post Graduate qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning.- 3-5 years experience in a planning role.- Experience in statutory planning.- Ability to manage a small team.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
