Key Responsibilities: Project Management and Delivery: Ensure projects are strategically planned, effectively managed, and implemented according to agreed timelines and objectives.Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand their needs, develop accurate fee proposals, and proactively manage expectations, ensuring satisfaction with outcomes.Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with determining authorities, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders to optimise project success and enhance the company's reputation.Quality Assurance: Review team outputs, including reports and advice, to ensure they are accurate, well-researched, and aligned with client and regulatory expectations.Business Development: Identify and pursue new client opportunities, maintain relationships with existing clients, and participate in industry events to drive growth.Regulatory Awareness: Monitor changes to planning frameworks to identify business opportunities and ensure projects align with current and emerging statutory requirements.Presentation and Advocacy: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to secure project approvals.Mentoring and Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing clear feedback and support to foster their professional development and ensure high-quality work.Communication Skills: Develop and deliver clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations with minimal supervision, ensuring professional and effective messaging.Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of urban and regional planning principles, property development processes, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to achieve successful outcomes.Skills and experience: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional reports and presentations with minimal guidance.Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling effective decision-making and innovative solutions.Extensive knowledge of statutory and strategic town planning frameworks, with expertise in current and emerging trends in urban planning and property development.A minimum of 4–7 years of relevant experience in town planning, ideally including 2–4 years in private consultancy.Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution, fostering positive outcomes in challenging scenarios.A track record of preparing precise and persuasive written submissions tailored to a variety of audiences.Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and managing team members to deliver high-quality work.Well-honed research skills, with the ability to analyse data, draw insightful conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations.Proven ability to manage and execute projects effectively, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and within scope.Unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.Apply below in strict confidence or call Harry Presdee on 0423 051 339 for a confidential conversation.
