The Opportunity PDA provides a comprehensive Planning consultancy service for a wide range of projects throughout Tasmania. This opportunity is for an enthusiastic and experienced Planner to join our team with a focus on providing an exceptional standard of service, producing high-quality outputs and fostering strong client relationships.
We offer a friendly and professional working environment, variety of work and work/life balance. This is a Senior role working with, mentoring and assisting with the growth of our existing Planning team.
We are seeking someone who:
Has demonstrated relationship building skills, including the ability to relate well to and build rapport with clients, government contacts and team members;Has a good reputation amongst their peers, in their profession and in the private sector;Has experience in statutory and strategic planning including complex Development Applications and Rezoning of land; andBe committed to continuing the growth and advancement of the Planning team at PDA.Essential Criteria Relevant tertiary qualifications in Planning (preferably in Australia);Extensive experience in urban and regional planning;Strong Communication and presentation skills;Ability to think creatively, critically and strategically;Excellent time management skills;Are able to work effectively independently, and as part of a team;Eligibility or holds full membership with the Planning Institute of AustraliaLocation Negotiable
