Job Description A pivotal role, there is clear scope for you to make a real impact as a Senior / Principal / Lead Environmental Consultant / Engineer / Scientist
specialising in contaminated land, with this prominent national consulting firm.
As you would expect, day-to-day matters will span a mixture of team leading and project/management activities.
Duties include: Writing reports and preparing proposals for site investigations and inspections.
Mentoring, training and development of the environmental team.
Liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
Organising field investigation works including soil, groundwater, surface water, over-water sediment sampling in connection with site assessments.
Investigation scope includes contaminated sites, groundwater, asbestos, site remediation, acid sulfate soils assessments and waste classification.
Oversee contractors such as drilling rigs, excavators, service locators and traffic control crews to complete works on schedule.
Apply relevant local and Australian guidelines for contamination assessment and remediation.
Adhere to relevant Work Health and Safety requirements.
