We are excited to announce an opportunity for the role of Senior Therapeutic Practitioner within our esteemed organization.

About the Role: Child and Family Clinical provides clinical knowledge and expertise to support children, young people and families as part of a professional multi-disciplinary team.
The Child and Family Clinical team members engage with children, young people and those who care for them alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure children and young people who have experienced trauma, receive positive support and therapeutic care.
This will include development of therapeutically appropriate assessments, plans, reviews and services, provide placement supports, including direct supports as required, and the facilitation of reflective practice discussion and other team meetings.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients in accordance with organizational standards and best practices Support and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and fostering their professional development Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of clients Contribute to the development and enhancement of therapeutic programs and services Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation Qualifications: A completed Tertiary Degree from a recognised University in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or related disciplines such as social, health, behavioural sciences is required for clinicians working in the ITCH/ITTC program, and preferable for clinicians across other programs; Current full, and maintenance of, relevant registration with an appropriate and relevant Registration Body is required for clinicians working in the ITCH/ITTC program and preferable for clinicians across other programs; A minimum of five years' experience in a therapeutic care setting or working in a clinical environment with Children and Young People in OOHC is required for clinicians working in the ITCH/ITTC program, and preferable for clinicians across other programs. Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience and the Child Protection and or Out of Home Care Service System, Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and operational issues across the Child and Family Services This opportunity offers a unique chance to take on a leadership role within our organization, make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, and contribute to the ongoing success of our team.
