About the role: The Senior Test Manager will lead the delivery of a portfolio of testing projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Acting as a key advocate and expert for testing within IT, this role will drive the adoption of best practices, build test automation capabilities, and foster continuous improvement across large programs and projects.
Key responsibilities include: Developing testing strategies.Providing leadership and governance.Ensuring seamless planning and execution of manual and automated testing.Troubleshooting, documenting, and executing test cases as needed.Coaching junior test analysts and guiding test managers and leads.Coordinating teams to ensure successful project outcomes.You'll be great for this role if you have: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.ISTQB certification in Software Testing.10+ years of testing experience, including 5+ years in senior roles.Skilled in manual and automated testing across Agile and Waterfall projects.Proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence, and qMetry.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent problem-solving, time management, and decision-making abilities.Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methods (manual, automated, performance).Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for insights and decisions.Professional, ethical, and discreet with confidential information.Desirable but not required: Master's degree in IT or Computer Science.Experience in the airline industry (highly desirable).Broad domain knowledge and strong commercial acumen are a plus.Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, UIPath, and Tosca.Knowledge of performance testing, particularly with JMeter.Familiarity with tools like Project Online for scheduling and Postman for API testing.What you'll get from us: We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):
