Your new role We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our Advancing Admissions Project Team.
In this role, you will leverage the AWS platform and undertake testing activities in multiple systems, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to implement new and existing digital solutions.
This position will deliver reliable and high-quality digital solutions that enhance the experience of both staff and students.
This position is available on a full-time, fixed term contract ending 17 October 2025, in alignment with project timelines.
Key duties and responsibilities include: Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, including defect management based on project requirements.Conduct functional, system integration, UAT, and regression testing to ensure solutions meet high-quality standards.Manage defect reporting and retesting, ensuring adherence to established test scripting standards.Provide technical guidance and support to the team and stakeholders in testing practices.Use SQL to support evidence-based testing through database interrogation as required.Ensure compliance with testing frameworks and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and practices.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps engineers to ensure a clear understanding of technical requirements.We are looking for someone with: Extensive experience in software testing across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Proven expertise in AWS testing environments.ISTQB, AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or other relevant AWS certifications (Desirable).Strong ability to identify requirements gaps, define test cases, track defects, and conduct various testing types (e.g., integration, regression, UAT, functional).Excellent problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.The ability to work autonomously, with strong leadership skills and confidence to provide reliable solutions.Work Requirements: Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts is required.Must have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the role.Based in Perth, WA.Please be aware that this position is based in Perth, WA.
