DFP are looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join one of our government clients on a 6-month full-time assignment located in East Perth.
The rolePerform testing of ICT systems and applications as part of the Application Support and Maintenance team, with primary responsibilities including:
Provide thorough software testing support for the department's corporate systems.Accurately complete and document detailed test execution reports.Develop and manage test data, creating comprehensive summary reports.Participate in defect meetings, providing clear and detailed issue reporting.Sign off on all resolved defects after successful testing.Define the necessary tests and prepare relevant test data.Deliver well-reviewed and updated test plans as directed by the Manager.Compile and submit test reports to the relevant manager post-execution.Log and monitor defects identified during testing in the appropriate tracking system.About youYou should have extensive experience working within a Microsoft .NET technical environment, with a deep understanding of its frameworks and tools.
Your ability to write and optimize SQL queries is essential, as you will need to retrieve and manipulate data for testing purposes.
While not mandatory, experience with Azure DevOps will be highly advantageous, particularly in managing testing processes and collaboration.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies will be beneficial, as many of the projects are managed within an Agile framework, requiring flexibility and iterative testing approaches.
You should have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to handle the complexities of software testing in a dynamic environment.
