The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to provide a critical role within Corporate Services and Infrastructure.
About the Business Unit Technology Services and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services.
It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex.
About the Role The Senior Test Analyst will support all testing levels, types and stages of the overall program of works, with the planning and implementation of the test verification and validation processes.
Some of your duties will include: * Work collaboratively with Business Technology Partners, Enterprise Architects, Risk and Assurance Specialists, Solution Architects, Applications Architects, Designers and Developers in identifying appropriate testing strategies and plans for proposed solution options to meet business requirements.
* Coordinate, plan and execute all required forms of testing within a development or integration project or programme to meet designated plans and strategies.
* Collaborate with Business Stakeholders and Technology Solutions SME's to provide specialist advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution to deliver service improvements and leverage process and organisational change to achieve higher business value.

About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Technical Expertise * Proven capability and experience working as Senior Test Specialist across various testing disciplines.
* Demonstrated high level of expertise and experience with best practice test management tools, processes and methodologies * Experience across a range of waterfall, iterative, incremental and agile software development methodologies with particular emphasis on testing, change management, release management and quality assurance disciplines.
* Knowledge of process improvement techniques and current issues and trends in Information Technology Qualifications * A relevant business or ICT tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
* Appropriate vocation training or certifications in best practise testing delivery, automation and agile development methodologies are desirable.
