In this role you will be responsible for managing, designing, implementing, and executing testing activities during the software development life cycle to ensure the release of a quality software product that meets business requirements.
Hybrid work arrangements are available.
In this role you will have the opportunity to: Maintain thorough documentation of the test strategy, plans, estimates, status reports, test readiness reviews, requirement traceability matrix, test completion reports, and other testing artefacts within tools such as JIRA.
Support and manage multiple testing engagements for systems including practice management (Finance Systems), time recording, payroll(SAP), ensuring adherence to project timelines.
Coordinating with the test team, business, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Manage test data creation, execution, and analysis to confirm software conformance to business requirements.
Ensure the successful completion of tests, proper documentation of results, and effective management of defects from identification to resolution.
Review test documentation produced by team members to ensure adherence to finance test team standards and project requirements.
Engage in continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality of testing.
Provide mentorship and training to upskill other testers, enhancing the team's capabilities and knowledge base.
More About You ISTQB or equivalent qualifications or experience.
Proven experience in software testing with a focus on both manual and automation strategies.
5+ years of experience as a Senior Test Analyst in a professional services environment, with experience in finance systems being highly advantageous Experience working across all test phases including Functional, non-Functional (including Performance), Regression, User Acceptance and Production Verification testing.
Proficiency in managing test cycles and documentation using JIRA or similar tools.
Develop and lead the automation strategy/efforts, including the creation of scripts for automated testing cycles.
Experience with the automation tool Tricentis Tosca is considered highly desirable.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills for effective test result analysis and defect management.
Commitment to continuous professional development in testing methodologies and practices.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities for mentoring and guiding team members.
