Senior Test Analyst - Data & Sql

Halcyon Knights is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Analyst to join a prestigious state government department based in Adelaide CBD.
This role involves working on exciting data-driven projects, managing end-to-end testing activities and supporting the Team leader on day to day operations.
ABOUT THE ROLE Manage Testing Activities : Execute high-quality testing activities according to the System Performance program schedule, including test planning and providing specialist advice on test policies, strategies, and plans.
Develop Test Cases : Create comprehensive test cases and test data, ensuring activities and deliverables align with test plans and project schedules.
Administer Test Environment : Oversee the administration of a complex test environment and management tools, ensuring appropriate collection, use, and management of test data.
Defect Management : Monitor specific issues and risks, ensuring assigned quality activities are performed correctly and within tolerance.
Team Support : Assist in identifying and recruiting skilled staff, contributing to staff performance management and development.
Stakeholder Management : Maintain relationships with project stakeholders, external vendors, consultants, and contractors, ensuring their views and issues are accurately incorporated into directions and decision-making.
Ownership of Testing Layers : Take complete ownership of testing different layers of the on-cloud data platform, including data ingestion, transformation, business and semantic, and visualization layers.
ABOUT YOU Certification : ISTQB Tester Foundation/ISTQB Agile.
Experience : Significant experience in executing end-to-end test management strategies, plans, and processes for large-scale projects within a complex organization under minimal supervision.
Task Management : Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, determine priorities, analyze complex issues, and organize varied workloads to meet deadlines in a changing environment.
Testing Methodology : Understanding of best practice testing methodologies in a business analytics/data warehouse context and familiarity with industry-standard project management methodologies.
