The Core Capability Requirements for this Role are: Research, review, analyse and report on emerging telecommunications technology as well as provide specialist consultancy advice when required.
Develop, approve and maintain complex telecommunications project design principles and technical standards.
Coordinate and lead the design and application of contract and technical performance management for telecommunications network and infrastructure projects across the public safety portfolio.
Coordinate and participate in regional telecommunications forums in order to develop responsive partnerships with relevant public safety stakeholders.
Prepare technical telephony specifications to enable procurement and delivery of required business outcomes.
Role Requirements: Technical/Operational/Educational Experience: Qualifications • Associate Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent qualification would be highly regarded.
Skills/Experience - Highly Desirable: • Minimum of five (5) years' industry experience.
• Exposure to PRINCE2 methodologies.
Please note - the role is expected to transition to QFD in early 2025.
