We are recruiting a full-time, Senior Technology Specialist (ICT North) for a period of three years. The successful candidate will be primarily working out of Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney or John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle. We offer flexible working arrangements which includes up to two days per week working from home. We operate more than 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW and conduct over 60 million tests per annum. Our network of pathologists are supported by scientists, technicians and support staff who quickly and accurately assess samples so clinical teams can make the best possible treatment decisions for patients. Design and development of integration solutions Management of integration projects Oversee maintenance, support and performance of production interfaces Management, supervision, support, mentoring and development of junior staff Maintenance of high quality documentation and reference materials Interested in joining Australia's largest public pathology service? Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of HL7 integration solutions. Demonstrated technical proficiency with javascript, VBscript, SQL and other programming languages and technologies including database design and development. Experience with TFS, GITHub or other code management solutions. Solid understanding of laboratory and /or public hospital workflows and processes, including those associated with PAS/ADT systems, electronic orders and results. Highly developed and effective management skills including delegation, with demonstrated leadership skills. Demonstrated experience in ICT project management in a Health setting. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving ability and skills. Demonstrated ability to work both in a team and individually with effective interpersonal skills, sound verbal and written communication including the ability to produce reports when required and ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders (including IT and Health professionals) providing high quality customer focused services.
