Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Member Platforms, this role sits within Technology Services and will lead the delivery of complex technology projects/portfolio of initiatives to enable better outcomes for our members and colleagues. The role will be working with a dedicated team of technology experts to lead the design, development and testing of technology solutions and releasing them to drive member and colleague experience benefits.

Key duties include but are not limited to: Understand the Fund's strategic and departmental objectives and agreed service levels, as well as external factors (such a regulatory requirements), and use this information to design and maintain reporting outcomes and influence other activities.Pro-actively engage to create, prioritise, maintain, and manage backlog within the portfolio, showcasing scrum mastery and management of agile ceremonies.Lead the enablement of an appropriate delivery model and resource engagement, including commercial negotiation where internal team augmentation or third party delivery partnerships are required.Assist in uplifting agile delivery within Member Platforms Delivery team and across Technology Services.Actively coach other members within the team to help create an engaged, and member & colleague centric team.Partner and build relationships with vendors & service providers to enable successful delivery of vendor products.Motivate and inspire the team and vendors by demonstrating commitment to the Fund's values, decision pillars and leadership principles.Ensure our Members First culture is consistently and firmly embedded across the team.Develop, nurture and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across Technology Services and the business departments. What you'll need Proven experience managing and/or delivering across customer-facing (external) digital channels, data and integration platforms>10 years' experience in managing technology projects and/or portfolio management, including applications and infrastructure experienceDepth of proven experience in delivering initiatives utilising agile techniques and waterfallStrategic thinking with proven experience in leading transformation programsAdaptable and resilient with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams across a broad range of activities to achieve project goalsCritical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperienced in operating in a hybrid (insourced & outsourced) operating environment with strong vendor management skillsExperience in Financial Services, Investment Management and/or Superannuation areasBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree Life at AustralianSuper
