As a senior member of Client Services, the Senior Technician delivers second level and some third level technology-based services and solutions that support the team and Health ICT manager/s to achieve results and works to resolve both routine and complex operational requirements and issues experienced by the Health ICT customer base. The Role: Provide technical support to meet customer requirements and improve the customer experience with respect to systems, applications, and platforms in line with established policy and procedures. Identify, develop and implement creative technical solutions by undertaking research, analysis and testing. Interpret guidelines, systems and processes to find alternative approaches to resolve operational problems and share ideas, techniques and proposals with the team. Deliver services and support in accordance with service level agreements, standards or project requirements and contribute to the maintenance of supporting documentation. Liaise with vendors and service providers as directed and ensure customers understand how to effectively utilise infrastructure, systems, tools and processes. Source, verify and provide clear high-level technical advice to management, customers and stakeholders on routine operational matters. Work with one or more teams to support projects, BAU and change initiatives. When delivering technical tasks or projects, ensure that agreed targets, milestones, outcomes and standards are met. Contribute to a culture of high performance and teamwork within the business unit and wider branch by adopting a collaborative, consultative and cooperative approach. Fostering productive partnerships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders supports the achievement of positive results. Details of Appointment Permanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $95,393 - $100,067per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
