About the role
We are looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our IT team and provide essential technical support to both onsite and remote employees. You will ensure the reliable operation of our technology infrastructure, including desktops, hardware, and user access, while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. As a senior team member, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and take on leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1 & 2 support for desktops, peripherals, and mobile devices (iPhones) across multiple offices.Offer remote support for offsite employees and other office locations as needed.Troubleshoot issues through tickets or in person, ensuring quick and accurate resolution.Support IT and systems projects, including testing, deployment, and implementation.Assist in coordinating and delivering internal and external IT-related projects.Manage staff onboarding and offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions in technology setups.Create user guides, technical documentation, and maintain asset management records for office hardware.Respond to ticketing system queries and issues promptly. Key Skills and Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT or desktop support role in a Windows 10 environment.Previous experience with remote access technologies and supporting remote staff.Experience with administrative and project support tasks, handling a high volume of competing demands.Demonstrated expertise in Windows 10/11 OS and Microsoft Office 365 desktop support.Demonstrated expertise in Mac OS desktop support.Knowledge and experience with Apple iPhone mobile devices – iPhones, iPads.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.Ability to handle confidential data with integrity and follow strict privacy and security protocols.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.Valid Australian Driver's Licence.Some travel may be required within the same city and interstate (approximately 1-2 times per year) to support meetings, projects, and conferences.
